Stavborg was forged in the year 2000, crawling out of a half-formed high-school band called The Project, hammering out raw riffs on tiny stages. That same year the path twisted into The Family Grinders, where a madman named Elvis dragged me deeper into the world of recording, noise-craft, and the violent alchemy of production.
The first real beast took shape: Repulsivore, a two-man onslaught with Erik. After its rupture, I went solitary—sharpening skills, hardening sound, carving out my own identity in the dark.
Then came Morbus, another collaboration with Erik, reinforced by guitarist Jonas. Creative clashes tore it apart, but from the wreckage Jonas and I spawned Odjur—a monster that never fully rose but still left teeth marks.
When Odjur dissolved, I descended back into the solitary grind. Years later, after moving to Argentina, I re-emerged in a Gothenburg-leaning melodic death band. It died for reasons that stay buried.
In 2018 the silence finally snapped, and I returned to where this all began: alone, relentless, and uncompromising.
Stavborg—solo, but never silent.
